Domestic Flights to Ukunda Airstrip (Diani Beach)
- From Nairobi (Wilson Airport or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport): Flight time is approximately 1 hour.
- From the Maasai Mara: Daily scheduled flights or private charters take about 2 to 2.5 hours.
- Ukunda to Alfajiri Villas: The property provides a complimentary airstrip transfer, which is a very brief 5 to 10-minute drive to the villas.
Flights to Moi International Airport (Mombasa)
- Flight Time: Varies based on regional or international departure.
- Mombasa Airport to Alfajiri Villas: The road transfer takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. While the traditional route involved the Likoni Ferry, drivers can now use the Dongo Kundu bypass to avoid ferry queues and speed up the journey.
Madaraka Express (SGR Train) to Mombasa (Miritini Terminus)
- From Nairobi (Syokimau Terminus): The full, scenic train journey across the country takes between 5 and 6 hours.
- From Amboseli National Park: Requires a 1.5 to 2-hour road transfer to Emali SGR Station, followed by a 3.5 to 4-hour train ride to Mombasa.
- From Tsavo West National Park: Guests can board at the Mtito Andei SGR Station. The train journey from here to Mombasa takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
