DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL
Named after a narrow fracture in its massive volcanic cliffs - once a prehistoric lake tributary - Hell's Gate National Park offers a distinct break from traditional vehicular safaris. The terrain is a theatrical blend of sheer stone columns, obsidian caves, and open savanna, framed by nearby volcanoes like Mount Longonot. Because large predators are rarely seen, it is one of the few places in East Africa where you can explore the rugged backcountry entirely on foot or by mountain bike. Beneath its dramatic cliffs lies massive subterranean volcanic energy, harnessed by the Olkaria Geothermal Station, which coexists alongside a Maasai cultural center and vibrant natural ecosystems

Leave No Trace: Do not litter. You must pack out all trash, wrappers, and plastic bottles to protect the wildlife and environment.
Stay on Trails: Always remain on marked roads, cycling tracks, and hiking paths to prevent soil erosion and avoid getting lost.
Do Not Disturb Wildlife: Maintain a safe, respectful distance from all animals. Feeding, teasing, or making loud noises to provoke them is strictly forbidden.
Protect Natural Objects: It is illegal to collect, damage, or remove any plants, rocks, obsidian glass, fossils, or artifacts from the park.
Respect Operating Hours: Day visitors must exit the park or reach their designated, authorized campsite by 6:00 PM closing time
