This 2-day Amboseli Safari is an ideal short escape from Nairobi, taking you into one of Kenya's most iconic wildlife destinations.
Set against the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is famous for its enormous elephant herds, open plains, seasonal wetlands and breathtaking mountain scenery.
The journey from Nairobi takes approximately four hours, allowing you to reach the park in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. As the afternoon unfolds, venture across Amboseli's wildlife-rich plains in search of elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and an abundance of birdlife.
The following morning begins with an early game drive, when the park is at its most active and Mount Kilimanjaro may reveal its snow-capped summit, weather permitting. You will also have the opportunity to explore Observation Hill, one of the best viewpoints for appreciating the scale and beauty of the Amboseli ecosystem.
For travellers seeking a deeper connection with the destination, an optional Maasai cultural visit can be arranged.
