Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Perched high on a bush-covered hill in the Mara Triangle, Mara Serena Safari Lodge occupies one of the most distinctive locations in the Maasai Mara. It is currently described by Serena Hotels as the only lodge in the Mara Triangle, providing sweeping views across the savannah and the Mara River.
The lodge's architecture draws inspiration from the circular design of a traditional Maasai manyatta, with rounded guest rooms arranged across the hillside and decorated with rich colours and patterns inspired by Maasai culture and the surrounding wilderness.
Mara Serena's elevated position provides panoramic views from guest rooms, the restaurant, bar and rock-enclosed swimming pool. Its location also places guests directly within the reserve, making it possible to begin and end game drives without travelling from an accommodation outside the protected area.
The lodge has 74 rooms, including one suite. Rooms feature king or twin beds, mosquito nets, marble bathrooms with walk-in showers, private balconies and uninterrupted views across the Mara landscape. Eight sets of interconnecting rooms are available for families.
Beyond traditional game drives, guests can enjoy bush dining, sundowners, Maasai village visits, the signature Hippo Pool Breakfast, spa treatments, birdwatching and cultural experiences.
