Pakuba Safari Lodge

Set on the eastern bank of the Albert Nile, Pakuba Safari Lodge occupies an exceptional position within Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest protected area. The lodge's elevated position gives many of its 46 rooms sweeping views towards the river and surrounding savannah, while wildlife such as waterbuck, antelope, hippos and occasionally larger predators can be encountered around the property. 

The lodge offers 46 spacious rooms, including Single, Double/Twin and Family Rooms. Accommodation is built on elevated ground and features private balconies, large windows, king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms, hot and cold running water and carefully selected linens. The rooms are designed to keep the surrounding landscape visible, with river and savannah views forming an important part of the guest experience. 

Pakuba is particularly well placed for exploring the park. Guests can head out on morning and evening game drives, take a boat cruise along the Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls, enjoy nature walks and birdwatching, or venture farther afield for chimpanzee tracking in nearby Budongo Forest. 

Back at the lodge, guests can relax around the swimming pool, enjoy a drink on the viewing deck or watch the sunset over the savannah and Nile. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with the lodge highlighting fresh ingredients, home-baked bread and produce from its own farm.
