Most visitors to Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda require a visa or electronic travel authorization. Below is everything you need to know to make your travel planning smooth and stress-free.

KENYA E-VISA / ETA

- • Processing time: 2 – 3 business days
- • Standard processing fee applies online
- • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of arrival
- • Requires confirmed flight tickets and hotel/tour confirmation voucher

- • Apply online: visa.immigration.go.tz
- • Standard Ordinary Visa fee: USD $50 ($100 for US citizens)
- • Processing time: 5 – 10 business days
- • Single entry valid up to 90 days
- • Passport must have at least 2 blank pages

- • Standard Single Entry Tourist Visa: USD $50
- • Processing time: 3 – 5 business days
- • Mandatory Yellow Fever vaccination card required at port of entry
- • Valid for 90 days across Uganda territory

MULTIPLE ENTRY & EAST AFRICA TOURIST VISA
Travelers visiting both Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda can apply for the joint East Africa Tourist Visa ($100 USD), which allows multiple entries between participating countries on one visa for 90 days. You must apply through the immigration portal of the first country you enter.
